BE CAREFUL OF THESE 8 BELIEFS, WHENEVER YOU'RE PURSUING YOUR GOALS, | Stephen Wise

Belief is the attitude that something is the case or true. In epistemology, philosophers use the term "belief" to refer to personal attitudes associated with true or false ideas and concepts. However, "belief" does not require active introspection and circumspection.

belief is categorized into two: limiting or negative and positive or supportive. unfortunately a lot of people are backward today as a result of their belief. every belief has its foundation, therefore if the foundation of your belief is corrupt, definitely your belief is corrupt.

In this note, i will highlight some belief, their good condition, conditioned fear, and their potential limits. it may then be your limiting belief or supportive belief. remember! negative belief are those beliefs that constrain us in some way. Just by believing in them and holding on them firmly. In doing so, we impoverish our lives. It could be about other people or the world.

LIFE IS HARD!
Good intention:      pain and struggle are normal part of being human
Conditioned fear:   there’s no hope of you feeling at ease or happy in life.
Potential limits:       feeling discouraged, hopeless; accepting difficulties or unnecessary suffering because you believe it is normal or expected.

HONOR YOUR MOTHER AND YOUR FATHER
Good intention:      treat your parents with respect and be grateful to them
Conditioned fear:   extremely concerned about disappointing your parents or that you may be disowned if you follow your own heart desire.
Potential limits:       Holding yourself back from what you want, what you know you need to do or who you are because your parents do not approve it.

SPEAK ONLY WHEN SPOKEN TO!
Good Intention:      be polite and don’t interrupt
Conditioned fear:   apprehension to approach others or to speak up
Potential limit:        avoidance of activities or circumstances requiring you to be in authority, lead, demand for what you want, stand up for what you believe is right or speak in front of others.

MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL
Good Intention:      Money doesn’t bring absolute authentic happiness, and it corrupts.
Conditioned Fear:  Negative association with having money; it turns you into a bad person
Potential limits:       unconsciously avoiding and sabotaging financial success to avoid the ‘negative qualities’ you believe you will develop if you have money

THE DANGEROUS SENTENCE
What will people say?

DON’T BURN YOUR BRIDGES
Good intention:      keep good relationship with people who may one day be a resource
Conditioned Fear:  apprehension to do what you know is right for you if you feel it will make someone disapprove of or reject you
Potential limits:       not making a change, not unable to make a decision to quit, or taking an opportunity when it comes out of fear of disappointing, offending, or otherwise burning the bridge.

THE NOT ENOUGH IDEAS
I am not tall enough
Am not short enough
Am not beautiful enough
Am not capable enough
Am not healthy enough
I don’t smell good enough
I don’t have enough money
I am not educated enough
Am not good enough…

I DON’T TRUST ANYBODY
I don’t trust men, (often say by women)
I don’t trust women (often say by men)
Men are the same, they are polygamous in nature…

Don’t live a limited life! Watch your loopholes and close them up. What you believe in could make you or mar you forever
“You can’t go back and change the beginning but you can start where you are and change the ending” – C.S Lewis
